Gartside Gurgler


 The Gartside gurgler is about as simple as the come but it's a fantastic top-water fly for predatory fish in fresh and salt waters. Here, I've tied a really basic version but included a couple of tips to make a tougher, longer lasting fly. Take this as a basic template and add flash, hackles, legs, or anything else you need for your fishing situation.
