 The classic bendback is still one of the best flies for targeting fish in heavy cover, whether that be mangrove snook, redfish in grass or largemouth around docks. These flies will come through just about any kind of cover better than most other options.. and fish just eat them! Material list Hook: Your bendback hook of choice, here I used the Ahrex curved shrimp, but will also bend my own Thread: 6/0 Veevus Body: Mini braid coated with resin Wing: Bucktail Flash: Flashabou weave or whatever you like
