Stand-Up Guy

This is my answer to the problem of making a fly rod worm fly that actually behaves like the conventional angler's soft plastics. By adding some buoyancy in the tail and a nylon core to get a little stiffness I've made the Stand-up Guy, a fly that can be fished like a ned rig or shaky head to great effect. I'm sure it will also work well for perch and other species. Partridge & Yellow

The light partridge and yellow really is a deadly North country spider.
